She also attended the People's Catholic Seminary for her ordination with the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests.
Chaplain Katie is passionate about providing inclusive Christian ministry to her Soldiers. She operates as a Christian chaplain while firm in her affirmation and service to the LGBTQ+ community. Katie strives to provide Christian care and spiritual counsel that is free of judgement or condemnation based on background, age, sexuality, race, gender, religion, ability, etc.
